tripping and the singing

Anyone ever hear the singing when they are tripping? It sounds like native tribal singing, usually in a language I dont know. It could just as easily come from Africa, North America, South America, Islands, East Asia, Central Asia, Southern Asia or just about anywhere else there are tribes.
There are some very distinct tunes that seem to pop up though... I usually hallucinate what sounds like several people singing these chants and tribal songs in choir.

I have also heard other types of music such as drumming, bluegrass, mariachi, Indian, Scandinavian, middle eastern, etc.

Honestly, the only music I hear while tripping, is the one coming out of the speakers.

Might be man, but I know that most of the time, while tripping, I'm way too much concentrated on my thoughts and feelings to hear some background mystical music.
I'm not saying it's weird, bad or anything of the sort. I'm just too busy drawing or writing what's in my head to focus on something outside of it you know.

I hear the music most closely aligned to that which I was enjoying prior to dosing. If this is Tori Amos, then I hear that while I'm tripping. If I'm listening to Tech N9ne b4 I dose, that is what I hear. Not the exact songs per se from these artists, but the general genre of music.

have you tried singing along, or repeating what you heard?
this is a very important thing you are hearing because no one else can! you should try to remember and sing them yourself.

I have heard weird tribal music in my head while I was trippin on mushrooms before. I think it only happens when I go internal completely with the trip.
Actually listen to levitation nation by Shpongle, that is apretty good description.
God I love that song

I've heard whispering-like vocalizations on mushrooms but that's about it. One time I took way too much diphenhydramine in order to go to sleep. I was listening to music and the lyrics that I was hearing were not the lyrics they were singing. I could clearly hear the singer saying the funniest, most random things you could possibly imagine. I was hearing many sounds like 'Revolution 9' ... children playing, sirens, jackhammers, birds. and i heard the same sounds of those toys we had from childhood that you would push the different buttons for different sounds like a machine gun, siren, etc. My brain reenacted all the different sounds of that.

Songs by Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley have played in absolute HD quality in my head while on mushrooms or LSA-containing seeds. N2O and weed actually conjured up a classical symphony that I had never heard before; check out my trip report.

Levitation nation makes me feel like I'm at a Human Be-In in Sao Paulo or Rio somewhere.
I tend to hear what's in the speakers, but sometimes what's coming out of the speakers sounds different than it ever has before.

Singing is amazing truly...
You have vocal chords for a reason.
Singing while tripping is even better, Terence Mckenna said that he always sang to get through the hard trips...
Sometimes I Burst out in song...I definitely suggest singing...And If your Vocals are very weak and un-stretched, try practicing!
And don't forget Dance!
The Natives had it right all along!

My vocals are by no means weak. I have pipes that make people weak in the knees. I do sometimes sing when I am tripping. This music is different though..Id need other people to sing it with me, its like a group singing with many many different parts layered on top of each other.

Yes group chant is also something very understood by the natives...

Yes! Yes! Yes!
The strongest does I've ever taken was very mystical. There were shapes and colors that coincided with a heavy, heavy chant. It faded as the trip faded.

I hear tuvan throat singing most of the time... especially if I have to catch a bus while tripping (for whatever reason), the voice kind of rises from the engine's hum. I've also heard classic music once (felt like I could somehow direct it inside my head, it was pretty cool) and a little bit of psytrance.
Oh, yeah, and the laughing. I don't know how common this is, but some people might now what I'm talking about; the "HAHAHAhahahahahahaHAHAHAHAHhahahahahaha"-sound that has a weird melody to it.
