Stalled trays in FC

Hello shroomery, I have been lurking around the forums for a while now reading different teks and decided to go straight into bulk using rye and coir. My grain jars colonized succesfully with no problems then i spawned to staright coir in sweater boxes and they seemed to colonize fine also. Then i put the trays in my martha fruiting chamber and this is where things went bad i guess. My hummidity in the fruiting chamber isn't staying constant in the mid 90's without becoming oversaturated. I have been using both a cool mist and ultra sonic with the ultrasonic on a timer, but throughout the day the hummidity would gradually drop to around 75 until i would get home and manually turn the ultrasonic on until 95 RH was reached. Two of the trays got a few tiny pins and its been about a week now and the pins have showed no growth at all. I guess my main question is are these trays ruined or could they have been hurt at all by the hummidity flucutations? Or will they just sit in the fruiting chamber stalled until i can get the hummidity to stay in the correct range. If they wont come back i think i may just build some monotubs when my newest grain jars are done colonizing because the martha just seems to be more work than its worth so far IME. Thanks for any help.

I had this same issue when I incorporated a cool mist & ultrasonic. As far as the over saturation is concerned. I eventually went to a cool mist that could handle the RH @ a constant. But I found the cool mist running 24/7 and the ultrasonic on a timer worked perfect. It was a 20x on/off a day timer, found it @ CVS. Once I had more control of when the extra burst of humidity from the ultrasonic, I carefully calibrated both humidifiers to allow for optimal RH. Then eventually moved onto a cool mist that could do it alone running 24/7 on high.

Ya i have one of those timers also but the on times are for 15 min intervals. I guess ill have to keep messing with it to get the correct RH...Will the trays that are in there be okay though even though the RH hasn't been kept constant or could that have hurt them enough that i wont get any fruits

I wouldn't worry just yet. The biggest thing to be afraid of is pooling. Pooling water > bacterial contaminate breeding ground > Pooling bacterial water impedes growth > Case Stalls / Funky Smell.
When the over saturation was obviously evident, I just turned everything on a very low setting and waited to see. Not to long after (once back into optimal conditions) and been given a chance to soak in the water the case continued fine. As long as bacteria does not acquire a foothold the mycel seemed to enjoyed a good soak, lol. But I wouldn't do it again ;D

Okay, that make me feel a little better about the situation...i think i might set my martha down vertically due to the fact that it is a cheap version of a martha closet and the shelves are making it fall over....one of my trays actually fell and got ruined so i guess ill try and get all the conditions back to normal and see if i can get some fruits.
