grow bag humidity

So I've read that grow bags have their own environment and for the most part you should just leave them alone. However I live in a very dry environment and I'm concerned about humidity. I don't see how it stays humid enough if air can pass through the filter patch. This is my first time but I can't help but feel I need to keep it from drying out.

It is a TMS bag and it has a little air filter on it.
...maybe I should make it air tight?

The filter patch allows very little water vapor to pass. I have seen sealed bags keep their moisture for over a year. As long as the contents were properly hydrated and the bag is sealed, I don't think you have anything to worry about.

My bag is completely dry..almost like sand. Four weeks since injection and nothing. I live in the high desert and moisture evaporates very quickly.
I've even been telling my grow bag ghost stories and tucking it in at night.

if your not getting growth after a month something went wrong. TMS bags are good. Who did you get your spores from. if it was a non vendor thats what did it. either way id start over i dont think its gonna germinate. also try to keep the temp at like 75-80 dont incubate it at 86 degrees. or at all. a cupboard is good

I got my spores from freespores. If I order spores from another company can I use my TMS bag?

Just nocced up a madseason bag two days ago. I just want too see some nice mycelium so bad so I can stop being so damn anxious about it. First grow and 40 bucks in the hole so I hope thats understandable.
That sucks though a whole month? I really hope thats not the case with mine.
Got my spores from ralphsters though. Good luck man message me if you get growth or noc up another bag, seems like everyone on this site goes by jars so I feel all alone
