A hypothetical FOAF living in the Washington area has stumbled across a P. Cubensis spore print (not that I had anything to do with that )
So anyways, I (hypothetically, of course) recommended that he wait until spring and then cover the print with a pile of cooked long-grain brown rice outside somewhere and just let nature take its course. Being lazy, he doesn't want to invest the effort required for indoor cultivation.
Does anyone have any improvements on my reccomendation? It would be greatly appreciated.

It's too cold to be growing outdoors in the Washington area during Spring....June, July and August are the only months you might do well outside.
If your too lazy....this hobby isn't for you.

hi! I did a P.cub. outdoor pot last summer, in the month of May (mid) and the pot fruited in end of May, after it had been raining for two days. On top of the pot I put some wet straw, to create a moist surface, which I never let dry out.
