Trichoderma colonizing on duct tape

I just went to check on my monotub, I usually peel back the duct tape on one of the holes to have a peek at the growth. but when I looked at the tape this time, I see 10 - 20 pin sized dots of green on the duct tape. I have absolutely no green on any of the sub, only on this peice of duct tape.
I'm not gonna worry too much, as I've never had a problem with contaminations using my sterile procedures/spawning methods. but I just thought it was weird to see it growing on the duct tape, any of you seen this before?
edit: also, I know there are different kinds of trichoderma, such as certain ones that grow on citrus fruits, and ones that grow on bread etc... maybe just a certain species that likes duct tape glue? btw its gorilla tape, I'm not sure if they use a different ingredient for their glue or not.

Kinda makes sense now that I see it. The glue is probably based on a long-chain starch or sugar of some kind.

No, that will be Penicillin on the citrus and bread, Trichoderma can look similar to Penicillin though not all green mould is actually Trichoderma.
There might have been some spores on your hands after eating some bread/cheese maybe, you opened the tape and transferred the spore from your hands to the tape.

Several years ago, there was actually a thread about storing mycelium on tape. It would eat the glue, and then you'd fold and put it in the refrigerator inside a ziplock bag. RR
