Yeah! Mix peatmoss and verm first 50/50. Then add 14 more% of oyster shell by volume. Should I grind my oyster shells into a powder?

Yea if you use oyster shells make them into a flour.remember thoe oyster shell flour is a long term buffer it does not start working till way later. Use hydrated lime its a fast acting buffer and test your PH

would 14% of hydrated lime be good? or is that way to much? I got ph test strips and meter. What if I add to much buffer?

You really have to be careful with hydrated lime It would not be 14%. If you use too much then it could send the Ph higher then 8, thats no good

6 months is fine either way. You can harvest, or leave them be. You can harvest the stones and case the grain material to get mushrooms, you don't necessarily need to case the stones.

I came across a post where someone forgot about a jar for 16 months and it was fine. As for a fruiting tek, I'm not usually one to preach and say "use the search engine", but shit, really... give it a shot. bw86 and others have much to say, and quite recently at that. You'll find more info than you can expect from any reply to a thread.
