    #11712253 - 12/24/09 02:09 PM (15 years, 27 days ago)

has anyone used a stanley steamer for overhead steam lines in their grow rooms?

Im trying to find cheap ways to keep my temps and humidity levels in my garage grow room.

Yea thats a bit cold, last winter I grew in a room that was in the 50's. 66F is an alright temp. just get a small space heater with thermostat

running a stanley steamer setup in your garage won't be cheap, or functional. there would be no way to dial in your temps while keeping your humidity stable.

and unless you are filling your whole garage with tubs (which i doubt because you can pull 1lb/week out of a 5x5x5 area.. so a whole garage setup would mean that you needed another room just to dry, process, and bag, not to mention a few employees) then you should just look into heating and humidifying a fruiting chamber.

you can build a structure out of pvc pipe and wrap it in polysheeting, and then run a fishtank heater inside a homemade humidifier to keep your temps up if you think they are a problem. i would run a thermostat in your chamber to turn the fishtank heater on/off.

dont space heaters use 1500 watts?

if im going to use a high watt machine id like to get more bang for my buck. thats why i thought a steamer would add heat and humidity.

im growing cold weather blues that like temps around 55F to 60F

No, small space heaters can be pretty cost efficient these day. But if your looking for a duel heat/humdidty then I dont know/. Usually heating the FC is a bad idea. Heating the room its in is the way to go

:lolsy:

this produces about 6lbs a month

i think you may have bit off more than you can chew, but good luck!

3 helpers sounds like 3 liabilities to me as well.

just run a few ultrasonics in the room, and have a space heater (on a thermostat)blow in air from a non-humidified room to avoid electrical problems.

my garage is 20 feet by 20 feet with a 9 foot ceiling. that is wet weight.

ouch dude, i never saw in your post where you were talking about growing edibles or actives.

i just thought 300 lbs of actives was a little much to put out in a week.

i never doubted you, i just wanted to see pictures. the only way i even worked out you were growing edibles was the size of your bags, which at first glance i had taken the measurements to be in inches.

so hostile, chillllllll.:bonghit:

i still think the space heater piping in heat from the non-humid part of your garage is the way to go. run the pipe straight to the middle of the grow area and punch a bunch of holes in it to disperse it evenly. a thermostat would be needed of course for automation.

here is the forum you were looking for to avoid confusion from now on

you should really look into some pills like extends or something for that growth you call a dick.

it must suck to have to jerk it everyday with your thumb and index finger huh?

Please come back bobgeorge. I know you just got here but I think I'm in love with you. We just can't be the same old shroomery we were before you came here. I see you are still logged in after all this time. I'm sure you're waiting for RR to come and save you from that horrible Shea and that snuggie wearing shoobie noobie monster. I'm also sure that RR will come and suck your dick for that $50,000 so don't give up darling, it will all work out. Until we meet my love.

georgebobbysue or georgia for short sweet baby.

i must be special. you made a new trolling name just for this thread?

wow!

and yes, I already pm'd RR and the prisoner# about losing out on a contract for mushroom curriculum with a few middle schools in the surrounding area.

lets see....20 schools times 3 classrooms that teach ecology times 35 students in each class....damn! I bet you feel pretty good taking bread out of this sites mouth.

Wow lol are you seriously trying to use that against us.First off whatever "business deal" you were or are going to make should remain between you and him only, not the people that make up this site that have nothing to do with his farm. Secondly, if thats how you do business then he is prob better off not getting involved with you. Were not "taking bread out of this sites mouth" thats preposterous, and a lousy jab because you know, you have nothing of reason or intellect to say. This site does not need you and im pretty sure RR does not need you or your "work".

Actually I feel damn good its the holidays and this site will be fine without you

dude it's a troll/puppet talking out his ass.

he means nothing.
he is nothing.

don't even bump this thread anymore just let the mods take care of him. he's just trying to get a rise out of people and doing it poorly. obviously with his language and maturity he has no deals with anyone and especially not with any schools. lets let him wallow in his fantasy world.

a merry yule and a happy solstice to him and to all.

besides, this thread is about snuggies.

dont feel so special. I talked to RR.

it is the overall character of this site plus the handling of situations not pertaining to this thread exclusively that ultimately brought the deal to a close.....but glad to see you can acknowledge your own part in the loss..

Nice move, Merry Christmas!

You talked to no one. You are just betting on the fact that no mods are watching because it's the holidays.

Merry Christmas!

And I pm'd you back that your petty bitch-whining sounds much more like a middle school student than a teacher.  Grow up or go someplace else to play.  Whatever the hell makes you think this site sells contracts for mushroom curriculum in schools indicates a few loose screws upstairs.

When you get a few dozen crops under your belt, feel free to tell others what they've done wrong.
