PC Dilemma
    #1171019 - 12/26/02 06:49 AM (22 years, 27 days ago)

The pin which initially release steam from my PC has vanished! I dunno how, it's just disappeared  Can I just block the hole with solder or something, 'cos while the pin is missing pressure can't build up!

If you are refering to the pressure regulator NO!!!! If you block that port and use the PC it will Explode.  Find the pin or get a new PC. If it is not the pressure regulator you may be able to block the hole. Can you post a pic of what you are refering too?

i just set a heavy cast iron frying pan on top of mine bc the thing that originally blocked the hole was missing. you cant just solder it shut bc then you wont be able to open the PC up after it has all that pressure inside it. just find something heavy enough that will sit on top and stop it up. be careful too dude

Does your PC have a gauge on it?

Just order another pin from the manufacture.
