Here's a nice paper by John Holliday of Aloha Medicinals comparing different methods of pasteurization. You'll see detergent pasteurization, lime pasteurization, and bleach pasteurization and the yields from each as compared to normal steam pasteurization.  I see no problem with your plan, other than you might need to add extra detergent or bleach.  Read the whole paper before deciding which route to take.

In your private message to me you said: how does it feel to be shown ignorant by rogerrabbit? goldfish penis...lol

I came to you with an opinion. I told you it was my opinion. You pulled me in, ridiculed me, and made fun of me for my opinion. RR shows up with real knowledge that you wanted to hear and you got all suck suck brown nose suck suck.
There's a lot of that goes on around here so you will fit in quite well. Making fun of people is quite popular as well.

I am an intelligent, educated person of some age who came here looking for spiritual like-minded nice people. I do not have the knowledge and experience others have when it comes to mushroom cultivation. My background is in computers and chemistry. I have learned a lot through many, many hours days and weeks of reading. I knew early on I wouldn't fit in here when I ran into the anal enema blasting fucktards.

You have taught me that I do not belong here at all, outside of reading things written by trusted cultivators and identifiers. I am very grateful that you have helped me learn this lesson once and for all. I promise I will never post on this site again. I will change your rating to reflect that you are wonderful, warm, caring individual who values someone stopping by to offer their opinon.

Enough is enough.  This is a mycology board, not a place to conduct pissing matches.
