I think tarrantino one day just thought of the word motha fucka and made a movie about it. Wasn't that bad actually. And wtf was in that suitcase?

My favourite movie of all time.
I think theres gold of some kind in the suitcase, see the way it lights up their faces when they open it.

An awesome movie ruined for me by depressing memories. =(
Anyway the suitcase isn't really supposed to have a physical object in it (like gold). It was always intended as a mystery by Tarantino. The most popular rumor is that it's supposed to be their boss' soul, who was buying it back from the devil (hence all the bible shit, and why 'god intervened' when the kid in the bathroom unloaded on them but never hit em. They were helping save a soul.) Of course, none of that is confirmed.

#5 on IMDb's top 250 movie list.
That makes sense to me, although I'm not sure about Godfather 1 and 2 being #2 and #3

Marsellus Wallace's soul was in the briefcase.

Tarrentino has a way with words. He can make any conversation important. Just some stupid off topic string of words and it's deep. He does it in most of his movies and is a fantastic calling card cause it add to the depth of his characters.

i forgot the term but we studied this movie in a film class, the case is defined as something everyone wants and the audience has no idea what it is

Yes. And IMO it is indeed Marcellus Wallace's soul. The best clue to this is the bandaid on the back of his neck.

the only part of that movie I like is the samuel l. jackson scenes,
rest of it is kind of dull.
