It's a petco brand, can you calibrate it? Doesn't have a knob or anything.

http://www.petco.com/product/9424/PETCO-Reptile-Habitat-Humidity-Gauge.aspx?CoreCat=OnSiteSearch

if is this it, i don't think so. i got a simmilar one and there is a screw in the back but, after they calibrate it in the factory they stamp it so you can't change it.

but it may work close enough. i just dont go by the #'s on mine. get it to what you know is 100% and mark it with a sharpie .

Yeah I got the petco one, Yeah I'll probably get a better one later on... How do you get it to what you know is 100 percent? just spray it with something or put it in a wet rag?

Just get a $3 walmart hygrometer that you can mark where 75% and 100% is on it with a marker.

I have one of those, I don't like it, I used it before and it broke because of the high moisture.

The moisture broke it? I've got two which I've had to 100% for hours at a time and they do fine...

I have 2 of those exact same ones in the same room and they read 10-15% different from each other. Complete junk, I got one of those old people weather things mounted to a decorative wood board from a thrift store for $3 and it reads perfect and even has a screw adjustment.

If you know how to calibrate it then it's not junk

I've found it too much of a hassle using hygrometers, especially digital.  It seems that they can't hold up to the constant high humidity.  Waste of money if you ask me.
