For every one decent non-cano vape, there are 50 shitty Chinese knockoffs.
I have already said to avoid Chinese vapes, I hate them with a passion.
There are ~15 - 20 high quality vaporizers on the market, nearly all made in the USA (some in Cananda or UK). I never tell anyone to buy a vape willy nilly, I recommend them specific models that have be tried and tested by a large amount of experienced vaporists, they DO WORK, very well.

But as much as I stand behind the Volcano, Chubba wants to shit all over it.
I don't even think you're even reading my posts? Go back through the thread.
Some things I have stated:
-The Volcano is the best bag vaporizer on the market, hands down -The Volcano is the eaiest to use vaporizer on the market, the valve system is unsurpassed -The Volcano is the best party vaporizer, no competition
The ONLY single downside I have mentioned is the price and the fact that vaporizers are a personal preference... not everyone is a big user, not everyone likes bag, not everyone likes plastic (the entire point of the thread, but you still don't understand that.. GET A VOLCANO!!!).
I'm being realistic and objective, you on the other hand are telling me I don't understand vaporizing which is a big insult.

I've owned a Vapir one
The Vapir is a piece of shit and should be avoided.

There are a large amount of vaporizers that produce thick hits. My favourite the Purple Days produces the thickest hits of any vaporizer, why? No it's not the temp, it's because it has a tiny bowl and an extremely restricted airflow
does it have anything to do with how hard you inhale, coz ive read that you can greatly increase the tempature of the air you pass over the herb if you were to inhale slower, so is there any way that it could be possible that the vapor from the whip vapes is more dense because some of it actually is smoke because of the increased tempature. im just curious?

You do understand vaporizers, I give you that... but you are the aggressor here, who jumped ON ME back on page 2.
I never said "ONLY BUY A VOLCANO"... and I am far from a "fan boy" of ANYTHING. I am simply giving my opinion on being the long term owner of a Volcano... a VERY HAPPY and VERY SATISFIED owner. In fact, I am considering buying a second Volcano.
I think you are taking this whole thing way too seriously... maybe you should run a Vape review website or something.

Some people like a higher temp, some like a lower, different compounds are released at different temperatures, the Volcano isn't immune to this.
Once you learn to vaporize, you quickly learn the difference between vapor and smoke. It's not a smooth transition, the moment you go past, it's EXTREMELY hot and harsh when you scorch... nearly everyone will drop the whip, cough violently and instantly realise the mistake.
"Smoking" in a vape isn't the same as regular smoking, it's 100x more painful and nobody seeks to do it.

Any other vaporizer thread it would have been fine... but you specifically came into a thread asking specifically for a "no plastic" vaporizer and still recommended a Volcano, it just set off my "anti Volcano fanboy" switch.
The Purple Days is my favourite vaporizer, but I didn't recommend that because he wanted no plastic.
That's why I suggested the Vriptech VHW and the Glass Vapor Genie

Vaporizing is serious business perhaps if people realised they could get a high quality vaporizer for $150, more people would switch over.

Haven't used it personally, bit too big/strange/expensive for my liking
Here's the Fuck Combustion thread discussing it.
http://fuckcombustion.com/viewtopic.php?id=224
Seems like all the serious vaporists still recommend the Vriptech VHW over it.

what would make it more painful than regular smoking, surely its less harsh than regular smoking coz most vaporizers dont get as hot as a flame from a lighter

That's what you would think and I was very surprised... but if you combust in a vaporizer it's absolutely hell.
All of us can smoke big bongs and joints comfortably but if the temp goes too high in a vape and it lights up inside a wand... oh god, you will definitely know, it's horrible.
I have no good answer why it's more significantly more painful, it's an enigma.

Not as often as I should... we wait until the bag gets sorta sticky on the inside. Once it starts sticking too much, it's time for change. Maybe 75 fill ups? maybe more.
The actual Volcano bags are harder to find, and kinda pricy... but it's one long tube and you can custom size the bags. We always end up using "extra large" turkey bags, which are used to cook turkeys in the oven.
Much cheaper and easier to find, a la grocery store.

I like the Silver Surfer. It's a fucking TANK. It's been dropped knocked over by the dog.... Smacked by careless stoners. Ever the glass on glass! Crack crack, many times. And it's still going strong.
The tube is always fun to clean But I think the best thing is I've left it on all night many times, upon awaking I shut it down and it still works great.
This talk of the element burning out and getting extra hot is BUNK IMHO. What WILL happen is one day it will burn out, and I'll buy a new one, and install it, simple. I also may buy another vape. But I'm happy with this for now. I've owned it for 3 years. It's proved itself in spades. And again, cleaning the tube.....MMMM :volia: Magic!
That V tower look pretty cool though.
Anyhoo, I just popped in to say while I don't prefer the volcano, and found it odd when a friend who's only tried my SSV, and used to bash it before he tried that!(SSV) would say he sure mines better.....than the Volcano, without even trying it.
As for his skepticism. I used to have, the "BC Vaporizer" there are others of the same kind. Basically a jar and a metal heating element. YUCK! Awful.
When I was in Vansterdam I made quite a few trips to the vapor longue.... and I've used quite a few vapes with friends.....
If someone think the volcano can't give thick decent tokes.... 1.They didn't load it properly. 2. They are a 5 year old retarded girl and don't understand how the parts fit together. 3.Not chopped well/Wet even?(though retarded, I've seen this!) 4. They are expecting .2 grams of marijuana to be passed around 5 heads for an hour.

i seen a video tokinGLX made about cleaning SSV or the DBV and the wand hash he gets from it looks soo good, do you vape that hash or smoke it.

how loud is it when filling up a bag, its not exactly the most inconspicuous sound, most people if they hear or see someone sucking on a bag would immediately jump to the conclusion that they're glue sniffing.
