That shit is evil man, Id get rid of it, I toss lc's without a second thought, specially if theyre gnarly looking, but thats just sick...
Both?
The second one is from a LC I got from sporeworks. I let 3 other jars of LC that I didn't noc up sit around to see if they contamed, none did. Did a GB noc, alcohol sponge over noc point. All LC is using self healing injection ports and double tyvek (one on top, one on bottom) for the breather hole.
I'm just completely confused.

hmm weird. Personally after that needle has been flamed red hot it should only come into contact with one thing after, and thats the self healing port

I loaded up the GB w/ the syringe, sterile (unopened) needle, LC (thoroughly wiped down with IPA), sponge sitting in container with 70% IPA (soak 24+ hr). Spray the hell out of the GB with 70% IPA. Seal the arm holes with zip-lok bags glued to hang over the holes, IPA between tub and bags to form an air tight seal. Wait 5 mins before work.
Glove up, 70% IPA hand sanitizer up to the elbows. arms in, wait a few seconds for the air to settle. Grab syringe with left hand (plunger up), needle with right hand (point up). Break the seal at the bezel end, twist off syringe cap with index/middle finger, flip hand over, install needle (pop to lock takes about 1.5s). remove sponge, place on injector port. remove needle scabbard, inject through sponge. Withdraw holding sponge on port, recover with scabbard. Take syringe out, remove scabbard, fill with IPA. Flame needle, dump out scabbard and recover.
Is that a bad process?

looks good but are you filling your needle cover with alcohol then putting it back on the syringe?
and are you using those wild spores or ones you bought?

Fill the cover while I flame the needle, pour it (mostly) out as I'm taking the needle off the flame and immediately recovering.
All spores/cultures I have worked with have come from shroomery vendors.
While I do have a few wild prints, I won't mess with those till I can get into agar work.

Shoot me a pm if you would like a powerful custom laser built. 4th pic is a 1.3W 445nm laser burning thru some plastic makeup containers. Yes I was wearing proper safety goggles, otherwise I would be blind right now.

id love to be able to add those as well and give you clean cultures too

Dude, if I could man spooge like that don't you think I could find something better to do than post shit up here? You know, like make a bukkakke flik?
The back lighting definitely makes it look more defined, but with just the flash or front lighting it doesn't look like it does in person.

They'll be out in the mail with like the other 3-4 packages that have to go out. I was just not trying to announce anything unless you wanted to keep it on the DL.

I did an LC with a particularly vigorous strain of h. ulmarius. After about a week I had a 1/4" layer of myc on top. I could turn the jar upside down and the the myc was so strong it actually created a seal, and held the water in place! Anyways, the point is it is a very valid theory you have a vigorous strain. Was this multi-spore or did you isolate? I would keep at it, because you might be onto something good. Good luck, good growing.

first one is from MS, second is from LC via Sporeworks. They sell some mean Blue Oyster, apparently.
Funny thing is, I have some karo LC that was made from the same print as the first pic's genetic donor (same print, made 2 syringes). The karo LC has some little itsy balls of myc floating at the bottom. It's quite sad, really.
I swear these LME LC's have been growing in the fridge...
