Incandescent Light vs Cool Temp FC

My fruiting chamber is sitting in my closet. I have had trouble getting and maintaining a temperature above 68. I have an incandescent bulb and a compact fluorescent bulb.
It's my first grow and its been mostly uneventful. I have a few pins that seem to have stalled/aborted, and then one large mushroom thats about the size of a babys thumb, in height and in thickness (fat short mushroom). I've been using the CFL up to about 8 hours ago where I tried the incandescent-as-a-heat-source idea.
When I use the CFL, the bulb is more efficient and produces less heat, therefore the FC sits at around 68 degrees.
When I use the incandescent and place the light fixture right next to the FC, the FC rises to 74 degrees.
So, whats better for inducing pinning/encouraging fruit growth: 24/7 exposure to incandescent light, or a 64-68 degree FC with a 12/12 cycle of CFL.
A mix of both maybe?

I would just use a 6500k(coolblue/daylight) CFL using a 12/12 cycle. That seems to be the best for pinning.
68F is damn fine for fruiting cubes

Run them 12 on, 12 off. The incandescent will be like a warm dark cycle for the mushrooms, they can't 'see' it... And/or find a better location.

not really ideal though, getting the temp up another 5 degrees would be good.

True I personally would not justify running a power hungry Incandescent bulb just to heat up my FC a few degrees. I guess Im a power saving tree hugger thoe
