Hi there, I was just curious as to whether or not anyone has some decent info on if you can use these cakes maybe after second flush with success. Or is it better to do it straight after you dunk the cakes to do a casing or would you be better off using a monotub? I've been doing this for a little over a month now, and have been getting what I think are decent results w/ just the cakes themselves for a first-timer. I'm always interested in hearing new info and gathering new things as well. Knowledge has always been a huge curiousity to myself (can't seem to get enough ^_^). Thanks in advance for any and all help and constructive criticisms!

You can crumble them and case them but personally I find yields are greater when there just fruited as cakes. If you do case them don't wait for after the first or second flush. Spawning cakes to bulk could increase you yields but like I say keep cakes cakes if you want to do casing or bulk goto grains

I find I get more from casing PF cakes, that's just my experience, though. Spawning cakes to bulk will definitely increase your yields. You can make a monotub with pf cakes, you might want to try that out first before preparing grain jars. Check out my signature for my TEK, it'll tell you step by step how to prepare manure for use as a bulk sub.
IMO you should case/spawn before the 1st flush, it's not worth it later on.

Thanks for the quick replys shea25 and moonshine! much appreciation, i'll definately look into that like you suggest. Oh and another thing i just kinda was thinking about, do either of you, or anyone else for that matter know why there's no need to do any more rolling after the first intial birthing flush? i read in another post you don't need to do it, but there wasn't any explanation as to why. Thanks again for the answers and hopefully you can check out some of my end product results. ^_^ have a great night ch'all

The initial roll staysi more then enough. Not rolling again and again saves verm time and money on something thats not needed. Its also save time that myc could take up trying to spread again and again over the roll layer
