Negura Bunget- OM is probably the best thing to come out in the past decade.
Also Enslaved- Maradraum, Below the Lights. Moonsorrow had like 4 or 5 brilliant albums.
Along with others I don't care enought to name... but damn those lists left out an insane amount of much better albums. Although I do agree with some of the choices...

Tool is not Metal.
I'll make a list sometime, but I will say that Killswitch does not belong on a top 10 list of the decade. Although "Alive or Just Breathing" is insanely awesome. Fuck Howard Jones, he's a pussy. Randy Blythe would kick the shit out of him.
Metal album of this year is hands down "Fed Through the Teeth Machine" by the Red Chord.

It was such a great I night was looking forward to it all day, got drunk
and some girl i really liked,(really hot psychobilly chick) but stoped
talking to calls and says whats up so i told her come to this metal show
so we picked her up and it was great music, great vibes with her, great
feeling of all that alcohol lol

Fuck yeah that sounds awesome. I love TBDM. I've seen them over 10 times. I always try to catch them when I can. Saw them most recently on Oct 30th in Jacksonville and I saw them at Mayhem before that. They always put on a great show and they're fun to hang out with and chat with if you can catch them in a smaller venue. Their DVD Majesty is really awesome. I definitely want to party with those guys.

nachtmystium's album called "assasins" is possibly one of the best top ten metal albums of the last decade.only reason i never made a list is because id probably forgetting the releases of the early part of the decade.
you can download the rar file on my blog in my signature.if thats not your preferred method, there is a shitload of torrents out there for this album too.i guarantee you wont be disappointed by it.
also id have to put wolves in the throne room-two hunters in the top ten as well.
plus neurosis-sun that never sets.their last two albums kind of sucked ass, and me saying that almost feels like blasphemy, since ive been an avid follower ever since they progressed from their punk days.
id have alot easier time doing a list of the past three or four years, so much music comes out that im excited about, the old stuff i listened to on repeat kind of fades into the backround.

Damn, I forgot to say Nifelheim- Servants of Darkness which was released in 2000... probably because it sounds way older.
If you want some raw and uncompromisingly ugly black metal in the vein of early bathory, but expertly played by professional musicians. Buy or download this album now. It totally fucking slays, along with their earlier works.
Also, the band Shining had a few good albums.
