Not a failure, at least you've got some shrooms to eat.

First thought, ALWAYS with skinny fruits is FAE.

Second, it could just be a weak substrain.

Other possible cause could be poor substrate nutrition.

Totally agree. The fruits and case look quite saturated, so RH seems fine. As long as you can replace the air over the substrate surface quite frequently with humid air you should see marked improvement.

How are you fanning this grow, and how often w/i a 24 hr period? Substrate layer is also one of the more important variables to large fruits. How deep is your substrate layer?

Definite FAE problem,  drill some holes at substrate level and they may perk up.
What type of light are they getting and how much?

There is now a fan in the room running on low 24/7. I bet its the substrate too, coir + 10% gypsum. It looks like the veil is about to tear and its only 1 inch tall.

I doubt the problem is that it's coir.  You can get large fruits on coir...

These are nowhere near the largest of the ones I've gotten from it.

I also crave pancakes when I see this guy, do you think you might have over done it with 10% gypsum thats quite a bit.. also could be FAE like everyone else said. RR states that anything above 10% gypsum is not beneficial and just not good for it, or something im pretty high,:vaped:

Two hours later and the veils have "puffed outwards". That means the caps are about to open .

I want these shrooms to know how easily I could kill it.

You're fine dude, I highly doubt all your flushes will look like that. And you don't necessarily have an FAE problem. Sometimes these little guys pop up before the beasts come.

Both of these came from the same coir block:

And I had several of those tiny ones till i saw the bigger ones, then I gotta real nice flush.

Maybe it because you didn't use any coffee... IDK is coffee that big of a factor w/ coir? I'm still learning as well.

No, coffee's not that big a factor with coir, it helps but its not necessary.

I hope not, my cheap hygrometer broke on me. Last time I checked it was 82% and I started misting heavily once a day then 3 times a day after I put a fan in the room.
