horse farm cultivation

what is better to start with..potting soil or the available horse manure..seems like the potting soil will give it a better chance of starting cause that has been a whole lot better with my indoor cultivation..any help will be appreciated thanks..

dig a nice size hole, fill it with crumbled up horse dung and straw, mix in a few cakes and cover with more dung, keep it from drying out and ENJOY

potting soil has no significance for growing mushrooms except to be used as a casing layer... you won't get shit, I mean nothing.. using it as a substrate.. it will not grow off potting soil.. only casing layer. there is no nutrition in potting soil.
