on the 15th I spawned a few cakes of the Roatan-Honduras strain I have to some coir+verm+gypsum.
This is how it looks today, not much different.
I think my temps are low(about 70 maybe) and causing slow colonization of the coir, thats fine with me I just anxious while waiting. Ill keep you posted on how long it takes untill I pop it in the FC

I got about 30 grams wet off the 2nd/last PF Classic cake to fruit. Alot of aborts... but I really like the look of these fruits, dark center of the cap with light edges, and very smooth.
and my coir casing is now doing awesome, I see alot of growth on the surface of the coir and from within the substrate. myc is chewin thru the coir nicely!

Yeah, I mean its been pretty cold here in WA. my room stays about 72. my FC was like 62-68 before I leaned my light onto it - now its 68-70 the fruits took a whiiiiile to pin, and then the pins took a long time to grow. dont they say that the colder temps produces thicker fruits?

so my coir tub is going to be fine just take a while due to the colder temps.... its been incubating for a almost a week-10 days now, and just starting to show decent growth within the coir. I dont mind if it takes longer as long as the end result is the same
