UV-C air sanitizer

Has any one used a uv-c light to sanitize incoming air going to a fruiting chamber? I thought it would work well, maybe if you made a light tight box to put a air pump and the uv-c light in, then run the hose to your FC. This may work well with a sonic mist setup. If anyone has tryed something like this please lit me know!

I have a UV light in my HEPA filter. I think it kills more virii than anything else though.

This thread was moved from Advanced Mycology.
Reason: Off topic in advanced mycology.
You can call it 'ignorance' if you wish, but many new growers fail to realize you don't need to sanitize or otherwise filter the air going into a fruiting chamber. Lots of fresh air is the way to prevent contaminants in the fruiting area. Save the sterile techniques for your inoculation process. RR

UV-C is also dangerous. The reason its such a good sanitizer is because it destroys DNA. Too much time around a UV-C lamp without protection from it can result in cancer.
The HEPA filter I have with a UV-C light in it is used to filter the air in my house. Its not used for a grow room.
