Here's some pictures of Don Quixote's Pipe.

He calls it Sherlock.

He has a (liberty) bong too...

Anyway, the pipe was blown inside out. Basically, that means what it sounds like. The glass was heated, and blown inside out. The colored side of the glass is on the inside instead of the outside. It is a difficult technique. Then the inside and outside of the glass were painted. The paint on the outside actually casts a shadow on the resinated inside letting you see the thickness of the glass.

I have never seen this pipe's equal. You realy have to click the thumbnails to see the amazing detail.


The flowers are painted on the inside of the glass, while the trees are painted on the outside. Some objects are melted inside the glass itself like the sky spiral. This gives the landscape a very three dimentional appearance.


The dirt on the ground is actually resin, showing through a patch of clear glass. You can see a blue flower near the ground.


The sky has a three dimentional spinner that stretches into the pattern from the mouthpiece to the bowl.


My favorite photo. Look inside the glass bubbles. The top one has a spinner like the one in the sky on the pipe. The second glass bubble contains a tree... at tree level. And what is that in the bottom bubble? Why, two little mushrooms.

Can you spot the deer?

I'll give you a hint. It is in two of the pictures.

thanks bert. I did a series of them, maybe i'll upload the others as well an post them too. they're pretty old, and i've sort of moved on to bigger, but not necessarily better, things like painting, and ceramics.

sorry thepatient, but you're a dick for doing that to your dog. Giving him a load of dopesmoke to inhale is f**king irresponsible and I doubt if he's really sitting there going 'yeah, I feel good', then again i could be wrong. Anyway, drugging anything without it's consent is dumbdumbdumb.
