ive got a bunch of san pedro cacti, and most are in a room near a window , im pretty sure theyve gone dormant for the winter(i live in az). but this year i put a small, rooted cutting into my indoor grow room under one 400w HPS, along with various other plants, before it started getting very cold out. and i was just wondering about what time of year/what light cycle would cause pedros to flower? do they have to be of certain age to flower?

Conditions have to be damn near perfect for them to flower. I'm not sure what it really takes. Seeing how you live in the desert, you should try planting a few outdoors in the spring.

ive had them outdoors during all the warmer months, i just brought the big ones inside since its getting damn cold out some nights. ive had the oldest one for about 3 years havent seen it flower once, ive seen flowering pedros at a nearby bed and breakfast though. i'll let you know what the one i have in the grow room does, i can tell its grown since i put it in there, but i wanna see some flowers, theyre uber prretty.
