O.K the apostles wrote the bible through the word of god. But then the new testements came out, who wrote those?
How did they decide who got to write them?

I think you got some stuff mixed up and there are several Christians out there who probably have studied this stuff more than I but....

The old testament is an amalgamation of supposed writings of ancient Hebrew theologians/phrophets/thinkers/mathmeticians (depends on who you ask) which writings were gathered by variouse folks and compiled mainly during the diaspera (the dispertion of the jews from palestine) by jews in Iraq oddly enough. These writings eventually came together to be known as the Torah or old testament.

The christians did basically the same thing but with supposed writings of the apostles of JC, many years after his and thier death. This is essentially known as the New Testament.

Now, what you see when you pick up the average bible, is the MUCH edited version of a bunch of different things, most of said editing being done by the Catholic Church at one particular time or another. And if you want to throw in a little Kabalah in there for good measure you got all kinds a crazy....

(did I get that right?)
