case the rye,skip the incubator,and put the tray right into the fc?!

what do you guys think about putting my rye tray directly into the fc right after i case it and not bother to put it back in the incubator !whats the word?

It has to reconnect and then colonize the casing layer. Allow it to do so before attempting to fruit the poor thing.

In the old days, we always used to case and then introduce to fruiting conditions.  I think performance is better by allowing it to colonize a bit of the casing first, but it's not a deal-killer either way.

Does the total time change? Or stay about the same, from casing to harvest?

I'd say that it probably will take longer if you put it straight into the fc without giving it time in the incubator.
