Zeta: Lol

Newb Who started the thread: upset stomach is probably it only immedeate physical effect you MAY get.....psylocybin does effect seratonin in your brain, how specifically? i'm not sure....read up on it and hell..lemme know...

IMPORTANT: SOME, i repeat, SOME users may developpe flashbacks over long term... some people, will see the patterns in their stuco roofs or carpets start to move or gently breath for example ( i know i do), and this diminishes with time for most ppl i know.

The carpet doesnt even move when i trip *sadness* I want these flashbacks! For a few months after tripping, if i smoke some pot, i usually get a light translucent pink patterning over everything...but i think its more work of my imagination, and it certainly isnt profound.

I find some strains make the carpet move a lot more than others, have you tried many different strains?

As far as medicine knows there are know long-term physical effects from taking mushrooms. The dangers of psychedelics are mostly psychological in nature. Sometimes it takes a strong mind to accept what you discover  :wink:

You're here because you know something.
What you know you can't explain,
But you feel it;
You've felt it your entire life.
That there's something wrong with the world.
You don't know what it is, but it's there....
Like a splinter in your mind...
Driving you mad.

I dont have carpet, but does anyone have wood floors, has anyone seen the wood floors flow like water, thats the best. My grandparents living room has wood grain floor, and wall, and the bathroom has marble like finish it always looks so amazing when I trip. Also small dose's of mushrooms have been used to alleviate depression, on erowid I read something like 1/4-3/4 grams before bed, Thats not even a threshold dose though

We might get glimpse's of objectivity every now, and then, but we're so inherently locked in our temporal and corporeal selves that we're irrevocably locked into subjectivity :crazy:

Ive had various "street shrooms" which were crap. Other people get good visuals, i just seem to come up with revolutionary thoughts...(revolutionary at the time), one time all the letters in words were spinning independently and then the words started spinning in another direction. I also saw my face fall off....but those are my only visuals from probably 10 experiences, inexcess of 5 grams. My gold fish is growing ecudors, so hopefully theyll do the job.

Short term effects would be panic and so a bad trip and getting stoned to the point of getting injured.

Long term effects would be mostly from HPPD.......Hallucinogen Persisting Perceptual Disorder.....this can be a full blown "flashback" or it can be where something triggers part of the trip and you "remember" and start to have a mild to moderate hallucination.
Moderate to hard trips can change your thinking.....for good or for bad.
