Well this morning's foray led to Galerina's Psathyrellas and Some Coprinus and one Amanita chewed up from squirrels and other wild living entities.

Here is the image of the P. cyans. The end is near in Washington, unless someone finds an old patch hangin on by a thread. I am sure there are some big patches aroun.

Next year will be better.

Nice little find MJ... and even with my limited experience, I agree that the season has peaked. Most of the shrooms I've found are lighter in color and smaller.. the mega fruits are not to be found..

On the other hand those rains last week or so sure did cause a nice flush. I stumbled across a small batch today after dropping a package off at my local post office. They were in some grass out in the wide wide open.. I can't believe they weren't grabbed already.

I walked that same spot less than a week ago and they hadn't popped.

So who knows, maybe we have a little time left for some more!

Peace!

Your in Cali right Angryshroom?

I used to go to SF quite a bit and every time I was there in fall I hunted for cyans... never found anything close. But I was way off on habitat and not dialed in at all.. but I never came close.. got to know the hills of Mt. Tam pretty well though... and that's a GOOD thing!

Peace!
