A "Gulf Coast" strain question...

Growing some gulf coast and wondering if anyone out there that had grwon them before could compare notes with me. I assume that since it usually starts out with a pretty light colored cap... Would this be why my pins have also started very light as well? By this I mean that instead of pins having the real dark heads, they are more white-ish with a slight golden color on the top. Does this sound right?

I've grown this strain many times and what your saying sounds right. Many people seem to slam this strain but I love em.

Continuing growth now, but they still don't "look" like all the pictures of pins I have seen before. There are definitly small mushroomy round growths that have reached the size of 1/8" or maybe a little larger. Like I said earlier, the outermost portion of each larger growth has a slighty golden color. This still sound right to you?
I thought at one time that I had some of the GC in the past and remembered them to be fairly potent. Either way, it was definitely the fastest to this stage out of the 4 strains I have going right now (GC, s. american, cambodian, and allen)

Yea, sounds right. As they get a little bigger the caps will kinda darken, then when they open they'll get real light and golden.

heres a couple of pics of some g.c. sorry about the quality, but you can kinda see the golden color. the trip is more body and mind than visual. this one makes you think a lot, not my cup of tea. but pretty fruits, nice to photo, heavy sporulator, again i reiterate, its not my favorite cube.

Out of curiousity, if one were to eat one of these small primordia/pinheads, would there be any noticable effect? Is there any noticable amount of psilo. ?

different for everyone - i ate 3g dried cubensis last week, and only got to 'level 2' or whatever. my lady last night ate 1g, and i spent the whole night talking her down from a BAD trip!
it's not like alcohol-drinking ability, and although tolerance can play a part, i hadn't tripped in over a year.
test on tourself - start with 1g, then try 2, 3 etc.
