A good cyan day south of Seattle

Two more plate fulls from revisiting a few of the locations I got lucky at earlier in the season.

I was really surprised to pull a few from the very first place I found a cyan.. and really glad I was careful to leave pins and not ape on the habitat... there were several meaty fruits when I returned. I'm always really careful to minimize my impact on the area.......

The rest of the batch came from locations where age has started to kick in.. caps a bit paler, fruits hidden a bit more amongst underbrush.

In both locations, people just walked on by these trasures!

I'm not sure if I'll get another day to hunt on the east side of the sound before the season ends. I do know that I am most grateful for everyone's help (esp. MJ!) for my first hunting season and I should have enough to last until next season.. so just in case.. Happy Holidays and see you next year in the field!

Two plates:

Plate one.. nice firm fruits from my very first find spot:

Second plate..some nice sized fruits.. a bit older:

The sacred mushroom takes me by the hand and brings me to the world where everything is known. It is they, the sacred mushrooms, that speak in a way that I can understand.
