PS3 Media Streamer

I recently migrated one of my media servers to Windows 7 from OSX. I am looking for a decent media streamer for my ps3, I was using MediaLink on the mac perfectly. I have tried WMP, PS3 Media Server, Orb, and TVersity. So far none of them really do the job too well except PS3 media server, but I keep getting crashes on large files.
I am looking for a client that streams to the ps3 natively, not a webserver that will play my videos as flash.
Any suggestions appreciated.

couldnt you just setup an nfs or samba share?
seems like that would be the easiest way.

how large are the files? I run PS3 Media Server on my freeNAS box, and stream .mpg (container changed from .mkv to .mpg using mkv2vob) files up to 12GB 1080p definition w/ DTS surround without a problems...for the mostpart though, i do about 4 - 6gb 720p blu-ray rips, also .mpg coverted from .mkv.

I hate streaming files to my PS3 so I finally stopped doing it and directly downloaded for flawless playback. However, in your situation, assuming the files are already in a PS3 compatible format and require NO transcoding, download and use the program HFS (HTTP File Server). You can find it here.
Using this program, perhaps in conjunction with MKV2VOB, will stream the files to your PC provided you have a solid LAN connection. I run gigabit LAN so I have no problems with my files, but again, I download them directly to my PS3.

i get flawless playback, AND only have 100megabit network, maybe it has something to do with not needing to transcode since i convert before storing on my server, and the fact i only use PS3 Media Server command line version, since it runs on that freeNAS box, never tried it on a computer with the interface...
