this was my first shroom hunt, originlly out of P. cubensis but along the way to the cow paddock i found these little mushrooms. didnt find any cubes but ill keep looking though. i know these arnt active just curious to find out what it is.

Habitat: was found growing off a small piece of wood mulch, under a small shrub.
Gills: Pores. light tan, creamy coloured.
Stem: about 1.5-2 cm tall hollow, no bruising.
Cap: about 1.5 cm in diameter, sticky kind of feel to it. brown-tan with dark brown dots increasing in numbers towards the centre of the cap.
Spore print color: i tried to get a spore print, i left it for about an hour, when i came back nothing was there.
Bruising: no bruising was observed.

Something Polyporus-like IMHO.
Def. not Armillaria mellea, Shirley.

Uhhh... I just prefer it. Alan doesn't use italics, and I really don't care one way or another what font people use.
Instead, maybe put that effort into your sentence structure and punctuation?

That mushroom is pretty neat-looking, for a polypore. Interesting pore surface structure.

ugh death sentence
I'll try it for 30 days. If it makes no difference, I go back to freeform slop.

...Well at the least, I don't have to go through the frustration of arguing the clarity of your prose with you... "Free-form slop" is an apt description.

I had been using this avatar for some time before I realized that he had virtually the same avatar! It was pretty weird when I noticed his, and not knowing who he was at the time or how long he had had his avatar, I made some remark about him cramping my style, but was promptly corrected, haha.

Although I prefer not to humor perfectionistic aspirations, I appreciate the effort indicated, and respect your personal contribution to tolerance and diversity in important areas. For these reasons I will also make some effort.
