1
Habitat: deciduous woods on edge of a golf course, London UK.
Gills: decurrent, brown, darker on bruising, maybe crowded?
Stem: pale brown, meaty
Cap:15cm, centre very depressed
Spore print color: far too wet for spores
Bruising:brown

could it be cortinarius bolaris?

2
Habitat: lawn among birch trees, London UK.
Gills: adnate, yellowish
Stem: whitish, 5-8cm, hollow
Cap:2-4cm, convex, bright orange
Spore print color: far too wet for spores
Bruising:none

could it be hypholoma fasciculare (sulphur tuft) or flammulina velutipes? how do you tell?

1 is a Paxillus in the involutus complex.
2 is a Hypholoma but I would call it H. capnoides base on your photo. Taste a small piece of it, if it is bitter it's H. fasciculare. Flammulina would have a dark velvety stipe and white spores.
3 Agaricus sp.

looking at my book now, and the difference between fasciculare and capnoides is not obvious to me based on appearance alone - what are the tips? i shoulda known about the flammulina velutipes, i grew the buggers several times, calling them nameko

Gill color is helpful, yellowish-green on fasciculare, purplish-gray on capnoides. Taste, fasciculare are very bitter.
