Pets acting weird while you're tripping?
    #11558763 - 11/30/09 11:56 PM (11 years, 5 months ago)

I've tripped twice with my Boxer pup around me. She is 9 months old.

She acts fucking crazy, rolls all over the floor, speed runs through the house, just straight up acting in ways I had never seen before.

At first, I thought she had eaten some shrooms, but the second time I tripped around her she did the same exact thing...

I'm thinking she is just feeling the good energy I'm putting off so it makes her feel good/trip too.

Anyone else had a pet act different while you were tripping?

Yes, I've noticed that my pets seem to recognize that something is going on with me.  They'll approach me and incite me to stroke them or play with them.

Lots of fun.

Telepathy with animals on mesc. is an interesting phenomenon.

defiantly. the other night i though my cat had taken a hit. she was scratching at the walls which she never does and scratching the ground when there was nothing there. i was convinced she had licked some lsd off my finger or something but she kept taking a nap every hour or so. so  i dont think that would have happened

You're just tripping! lol. I do notice this though, animals seems to react a lot differently. When I was having a bad trip on LSA, my cat laid with me the whole night. I thought I was gonna die for sure (lol), and my cat looked concerned for me at the time. IT was like my cat was looking out for me, staying with me to make sure I was alright.

Of course, it could've been because I was rolling around the floor in agony, but shit it definitely felt comforting to know I had someone with me.

Animals always sense different changes in you. Our cat avoids us when we trip.......
But she doesnt like to party either, haha!!! CAt does not like weed, and NO we dont force it on her!!!

Maybe we just perceive animals as acting differently because of our drug induced state? Or maybe it's because we can sense the animals feelings?

There's only one way to find out...

The cats act concerned sometimes.  They often will do the weird kitty cat pawing on me when I am on the floor.  The little dog acts excited (She likes to get high with me too.)

Animals vibe very well. I'm sure the only reason it appears your pup is spazzing out with energy and excitement is because likely he is getting it from you, or causing you to have a reaction (laughing, positive body movement, etc.) so they just keep running wild.

My cat is a part of every one of my trips. Hoffman is one of the socially smartest cats I know. He will know if you're an asshole or not based off of how we are talking with you, and then he will act accordingly too :tongue2:. My new pit bull puppy KiKi however, she's a rambunctious little cuddle puddle beast. Haven't tripped with her yet. I'm kind of scared to lol...

They can feel the good vibes coming from you. I actually hate tripping around my pets(cat and dog) because sometimes they can mess with my mojo or interupt my trip at a bad time. Its just nice not having to worry about a thing

True that, I love tripping around my dog......She is my baby.

Plus, Boxers are crazy dogs anyway......She gets super wild when I trip around her.

Like, Even when she falls asleep, she is always in real weird positions (Body half way off the couch etc etc)

What if animals can see things that we can't. Their eyes are different than ours so they would let in different (more) amounts of light, or another frequency of light altogether.

When I trip and I close my eyes, I always get the feeling there are loads of hands reaching out to me trying to grab or stroke me or something. It's just a thought, but cats and dogs might be able to see these things. Does that happen to anyone else or is it just me?

I have definitely noticed this too... I was tripping on the couch one night and my gf's cat just stated to run circles around me, jumping from table to table then to the chair and back to the table again for about 4-5 mins.

I have a cocker spaniel and naturally he is very playful and jumping around but every time I go outside around him while I'm tripping he runs up to me and instead of jumping like he usually does he just stops right in his tracks and starts looking and sniffing at me hardcore.

Animals interest the hell out of me while I'm tripping...its like I'm in their world and they know it.

I just recently heard of this and wish to trip with my dog sometime now. Although during my first trip deer ran by as it ended, such a beautiful sight. :bliss:

I love that everybody in this forum loves their damn kitties as much as I do mine! Thick and thin, petting your cat after a hefty trip= downright moving.

Right on guys!
Right on!

animals can definitely sense it. Normally when youre having a bad trip they'll try to comfort you. Sometimes when I come out of my room during a heavy trip, my dogs will all be laying there saying "what did you do now" on their face.

i ate some mushrooms with my mom's dog in the next room. i invoked a spirit and i think the dog saw it, because she started crying at the door. i let her in and she wouldn't stop crying and snuggling. wouldn't leave my side for the rest of the night.

How did you manage to do that?

i don't know. i don't think i did it consciously, but more that the mushrooms brought it to me and made me aware of it. it was a high dose, probably my most visual mushroom trip ever by that point. the first time i had ever seen anything like that being. since then i have delved even deeper and have seen many more spirits and demons
