recently the catholic church has backed down from its hard line stance that all non catholics will go to hell and said that jew can go to heaven too. so if you go to hell or not is in the hands of the church? also if jew can go to heaven and jews say that you dont have to be jewish to go to heaven then does that mean all the people that jews deam go to heaven go to catholic heaven? Also if religious text isnt to be taken literally then whats the point of listening to god if hes just joking all the time?

Actually, I believe the Pope said (semi?)recently that ALL Jews go to Heaven, because they are God's chosen people.

The Catholic religon has got to be the CLOSEST thing to a cult in todays society of "accepted organized religons". Fuck religon, and especially fuck the catholics.
I'm sorry if I've offended anyone - to each their own, but I don't agree with religon.

Catholicism IS a cult, lol. imagine if they introduced it now. would it become such a popular religion? No. It would be an underground terrorist cult. The only different between Catholocism and an underground terrorist cult is that Catholocism is legal.
Maybe the current fukt up state of the church is just because of politics and crap from way back in the day, and its carried on forever.... i'm sure when they introduced christianity, it wasnt about blowing up abortion centers

Hmmm, I went to Catholic school from 5 years of age to 18 years of age, that is not what I was taught (that all non Catholics will go to hell). Rather, I was told it was more important what kind of life a person lived, how he/she treated other people, for this is the essence of Christ's teachings.

1. priests molesting innocent boys whos only crime was their fucking parents forcing 'their' religion. makes me fucking sick, you here storys all the time, to where its so common it is in jokes, its written off as 'another one'

i know some cathloic people, and there not all bad, sure we have our differences, but thats teh way people are right?
even the real hardcore cathloics don't really bother me, tehy can do what they want, i try not to bother with them
