Slight green color on fungi (bruise maybe?)
    #1155342 - 12/19/02 03:07 PM (14 years, 7 months ago)

I have a slight green marking on a very small part of my shrooms. It doesnt look like contamination really, more of bruise..

Any ideas?

Sorry for the lack of pics..

it's rare to see mold on the actual mushrooms. I would say if it's on the mushroom, it's probably bruising. You can rinse it off with a few sprays of 10%h2o2, 90%water, and if it comes off it's contam, if it doesn't - it's bruising.

The whole point of this post is that it WASNT on the cake. Green + cakes = baad. I know that.
