> WIll Bait fukk wit my patch??
I wouldn?t put it directly on the patch, but rather around it. But I?m overly cautious with theres things...

>Oh yeah what happens if ya make a patch too deep?
I don?t know.

>How deep is 2 deep??
I wouldn?t make it deeper than 10 inch.

Should I tarp and water in spring? I know some of these have already been covered in past posts but live help is soooo much greater.. these things even smell more potent than cyans.... Thanx 4 all your help I probably never woulda made it this far without you anno. You are definatley a valuable shroomerite!

Datru ,i  susppose that would depend on what you intend the grass for
the only wheat grown in OR. is durem used mainly for cattle feed and doesn't make a good lawn or smoke worth a shit .
so unless you want to grow your own organic straw for subsrtate your'e in the wrong forum  and maybe the wrong thread ,unless you want to grow azurs on wheat staaw  (smartass remark)

Ohh you mean grass for camouflage . well why didnt ya say so
oats is the best low maintainence ground cover it will keep your bed humid in summer ,cut it back when it goes to seed and it will stay green all winter.
no soil required it grows on chips

I have had good success with beds 6-10" deep any deeper and it seems like the bottom is not being utilized.I have two Azure patches one has native wild grass that regrew on the bed over summer the other I planted a varigated Phalaris both have had several flushes and I am pleased with things so far.I feed with(weak) poo tea fortified alder chips and just work them into the grass(I think the rotting grass helps even cyans and azures as it is an easily assimilated cellulose) I have not noticed any difference in potency between beds but they are so dang potent who can tell  PS my beds are on their third year and spreading with each chip feeding  PPs Just a touch of kelp meal in the chips seems to encourage new growth but only a trace or it will be a gummy mess.I think this is better for potency than anything else I've found  :wink:WR
