How do i tell if it's time to give up on my mycilium?

it's been 6 weeks and I think in an effort to hasten the growth, I might have over heated it for 12 hours.

it's now stopped growing for the last week.

How do I tell if the Mycilium is dead?

Has is dried out completly. Is the cake real dry, light and airy

no, it has perspiration and dew drops on the sides of the jars.

when u say "over heated", how exactly do u mean it? 32 C is overheating, but 56 C is also overheating.

mycelium sometimes stops growing in jars, perhaps when conditions change and their habits are still the same :smile:

i have seen "stopped" jars to recover with no reason. So, lets hope its just a shock and that they will recover. Patience a bit, nothing to lose now.
