be careful using those indoor greenhouse tents if you want to humidify them. the zips break extremely easily rendering your tent useless and all your mushrooms and cakes dry

I can vouch for both MRCA and FSRE (!!!) for spore prints. There are IME some other (non-sponsor) UK-based vendors supplying good quality syringes.

Jars were a bit of a bitch I ended up getting some REALLY cheap ones in Lidl, under 60p and large, they have all kinds. It's cheaper to buy full ones and that is fucked, I hated throwing away all that food but you can only eat so many peas 'n' carrots.. Spores101 have been very good and shipping is reasonable and quick. There are almost always cheap PCs in local 2nd hand ads, got a prestige for £10.
Top Tip for incubation: a fishtank heater in a 5ltr mineral water bottle in polystyrene/styrofoam box, amazing for under £10.

You jammy, jammy, jammy bastard.
But again, folks, I can't recommend the FSRE enough (obviously, any FSR is :awe:, but it's the Netherlands to whom we Brits turn when the myco bug takes hold...)
In my first ever dealing with them, I wrote a little letter in with my order and 2 euro, telling them how awesome I think they were for doing what they do-basically geeking on at them, as you do-and they sent me three prints along with a "cheers-have a great trip(and life!)" note.
I mean c'mon-what awesome guys!
FRSE ftw.

Thanks for the advice on spore suppliers.
I may well start with a syringe before trying to use a print, would rather waste 10 quid of my money than somebody's work in a print the first time around.

Gaffa or duct tape as a temporary repair? Sellotape if desperate.

This might be a solution if the zipper blows out.I might order a few just to have on hand for other custom projects too. The only thing is, I don't know if you can shorten it...
Peel and Stick Zipper

(sorry I know this supplier isn't from the UK but they do ship internationally)

Hey Shroomers
Near the start we spoke about the dehydrator below, basically wanted to know if anyone has recorded a temperature that its throws out?
As some said they took out heating element and others left it. What do you recommend?
