Where did you get your dehydrator from, Base? Think it was you anyway.. I need a decent one, getting too warm to use heaters/radiators.

I got the weatfalia one man. Can pack 2(dry weight) ounces loose in there. could probably pack 3 or 4 in there if you wanted.
Think they are like 40 quid with shipping now. got to wait a week or so for it thought cause it comes from Germany and they have to change the plug on it first so it will have a uk plug.
No heat control and its on the hot side but seems to do the trick well enough. I've used it quite a bit since having it. Cant wait to use it for allotment items soon.

Been thinking about homebrew a lot recently, I have a friend who makes 100's of litres of cider each year, some decent ales too..
Not sure I have the space, why do ask Base?

I'm just getting into it. The uk home brew forums are dead a whole compared to shroomery, understandable but man are they boring.
I've got 25L of cider on as well as 3 different types of "ades" or weak wines, going to come out about 5-6% @ 5L each. Got rasberry cherry and strawberry.

Not sure if any one has mentioned this already but you can get a 2lb brick of Coir from Ikea for about £2.40. It's called Kokosnoot but you can't order it online.

Hey, has anyone else been having trouble finding Oust 3-in-1 lately? My usual places (Homebase, Waitrose) don't seem to have it anymore. The Homebase page says "no longer available". A google search claims Aldi has it, but I haven't managed to get to one of their stores.
I just ordered 2 dozen cans from Ocado (which is Waitrose, I guess) so we'll see if they turn up tomorrow. They'd better not bring 2 dozen cans of something else...
