I got those jars and they arrived in 36 hours. They are the cheapest I've found by quite a bit. They're good and solid and perfect in my cooker.
What cooker do you have?

4 liter kilners? I really really dont think so. I think 3 is already pushing it. Funny story real quick,
"I actually went to the local hardware store yesterday. They sell pc's and kilner jars. I ask if I can take one if the high domes out of the box and see how many 1L jars will fit in it. The dumb bitch that works there set the box on the ground set 4 jars next to it long ways and 2 next to it short ways, ans tells me 8.
I had to just walk out, because there was nothing for me to even say to that."

I personally fit 5 440g curry jars or 4 750g dolmio bolonese jars each time. The 750's are the idea ones imo.

I finally found some non pvc cling film to use instead of parafilm m. It's Co-ops own brand. £1.19 for 30m.

I got that pc as well.. the size is great, but the lid is kind of awkward.
If you have jars stacked up remotely close to the top it's difficult or impossible to get it on. You have to like.. put the lid inside the pc sideways then twist it around in order to get it on. So if there's no room to put the lid inside the pc.. you can't get it on.
I can fit 4 quart jars nicely standing upright on the bottom, but putting any on top is a problem. I haven't tried putting the jars on their sides.

I can get 5 in if I put one on it's side on top. Plus a couple of mini grain jars for GLC, they colonise in a few days and are much easier to fill with sterile water. This way I get glc of everything without fucking with my spawn jars.
Those Kilner jars hold a lot of grain too, big jars kick ass.

I've updated the OP with as many useful links as BaseIcks and I could scour from this monstrosity of a thread-good job peeps!
See, this is the thread I really wished I'd found day one of logging onto the Shroomery-and y'all have made it possible-thanks very much. If we're making it even a tiny bit easier for British peeps to expand their minds and sample the joys of this wonderful fungi, then I reckon it's been time well spent.
Any links I've forgotten, or you think important, me and I'll give it a quick edit.
To you all, a sincere

There's a seller on eBay UK with GYPSUM POWDER at last! I never trusted the 'drywall' method.

Yeah man.. I think that may be what is causing me some problems actually. I got a tub of that gypsum moulding powder stuff when I decided to start trying some bulk grows. It doesn't really dissolve properly.. I simmered some rye the other day and I had these big hard chunks of plaster all in my grain.

GYPSUM.
Just searched my old emails to find this: http://www.gardendirect.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5_228&products_id=742
Not the cheapest but not bad either and they delivered quickly. Gypsum is a bitch to find, I'd forgotten!

Not a bad find there. Works out to be the same price as buying from the Chinese link I posted above if you only buy 3kg.
