So yah linux is like some werid fucking chinese torture to me, since i grew up on windows. anyways ive been racking my brains and im about to go break some shit
anyways i have no freaking idea how to install anything, i have no idea how to build anything, i have no idea how to get flash to work.....i need flash.
im using a PS3 by the way.......
the ideal setup would be so flash works in firefox, and its sad that i even have to mention that but linux seems annoying like that.
i did manage to get to the adobe website(bravo i know) and i downloaded some files and sopposedly they installed but obviously that didn't do shit because that would be way to simple
even more annoying is that YDL sopposedly comes with something called Gnash so it should have been playing flash without me doing anything i thought....i tried downloading a few firefox addon's but they didn't work either.
anyways this sux

the PS3 is built on the PowerPC architecture. unfortunately.. adobe has not released a PPC build of flash for linux. if Gnash doesnt work you have to either live without flash or install linux on a normal x86 machine.
it sucks but its not linux fault.. it the vendors fault for not supporting an open source operating system..

gnash is open source. it should be installed by default. use your package manager to find it (i dont know how rpm distros work or id tell you on the command line). if its installed then youre probably getting everything that it has to offer.
