Ten days in terrarium, time for evaluation....

It has been about 10 days since I first birthed my cakes. I've been worried about the health of some of them and was wondering if you guys could give me some feedback. Still no pins. I originally had the cakes on tin-foil but I thought that they may have needed more moisture, so about 2-3 days ago I placed them directly on the perlite.
Cake 2:
Cake 5:
Those are the two that I'm happiest with....the rest look more like this:
Family shot:
How do things look guys? I really have no clue how I'm doing since......well.......since I have nothing else to compare this to.

Looks fine to me, a bit dark but maybe its just my sunglasses Quote:
Still no pins.
Dont worry, you'll get there. 10 days is not long enough to panic. Peace BC

dont sit the cakes directly on perlite, put some foil under them or something. Otherwise they can get overhydrated, and you might end up with fatasses.

It took mine almost 18 days to show pinning. Just chill out and let em go at their own speed. Smoke a blunt.

Well Ski, I can always rely on you to scare the shit out of me. Thanks for the replies guys, does anyone else feel the same about putting the cakes back on foil? I could have sworn that they were looking a bit dehydrated...

Angry, you read my PINS HAHAHAHA post. Look, dont worry about it. Heres what i did and maybe this will help,.. after 11 days of no g rowth i dunked/cold shocked my cakes..... Put em back in their jars, run cold water (i used tap water) over them until you see the sides get covered, then pet them in the fridge make sure they dont freeze of course.:) Leave them in for 12-24 hours This will not only give you something to do,.. heh but will hydrate the shit outta your cakes. also,.. take them off of the pearlite.. this is an unnecessary contam risk... put those bitches on foil. that will work for ya dont forget.. leave them alone! only fan em 3 times a day anything more and you will start to drop RH and tharts no good. if you still think that humidity is a prob,.. I wet some paper towels and put them on top of the foil surrounding my cakes. peace
oh yeah and dont for get to smoke a blunt
