East of Eden--Steinbeck
    #1147236 - 12/16/02 10:43 PM (13 years, 11 months ago)

All right, I'm halfway through this one now. I won't say that it's the best book I've ever read, as I say almost every time, it seems, but it's damn good.

Where to begin? ... I guess with finishing the book.

Give it a look.

How does it compare to grapes of wrath?
I read Wrath in highschool, I hated it... A factor being that it was required reading material.

How can one hate The Grapes of Wrath?
