"What Time is it?" - Brian Cox. Documentary about theoretical physics and time
"The Six Billion Dollar Experiment" - BBC. Covers the LHC
"Atom" - BBC. Follows the history of physics and the atom
"The Elegant Universe" - Brian Greene. Gives a good base knowledge of theory of relativity, quantum mechanics, and string theory. The book is a lot more in depth
"What the Bleep do we Know?" Philosophical/scientific documentary about quantum mechanics, relativity, and string theory. It's long, but WELL worth it. There are torrents up. http://www.whatthebleep.com/
Thousands of documentaries on here http://quicksilverscreen.com/videos?c=44&pt=list
-------------------- Did he dream about dragons? Did he dream about deer? Did he whisper he names of friends who were near? What songs did they play, and how far away? Why did he whisper, why did she scream? What does the sound of a screen door mean? Who talks on the hill? Who goes to the cellar, can you feel the chill? Where does the river, when will the wind? How far are the mountains? Where do they end? Why would the church? Did the service begin? Tell me who died, and tell me who cried. Help me hide in the skin of a deer, my zippered-up bag in the mouth of a stag so swiftly I go through rows of does, it flows, it flows, it flows, it flows all over the hill where the green grass grows.

Sorry if you want to learn history but don't wana know about conspiracy you are looking for something that dosen't exist.
Basicly give up becasue all history is created by people meeting together and planning stuff.
con⋅spir⋅a⋅cy /kənˈspɪrəsi/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [kuhn-spir-uh-see] Show IPA Use conspiracy in a Sentence See web results for conspiracy See images of conspiracy –noun, plural -cies. 1. the act of conspiring. 2. an evil, unlawful, treacherous, or surreptitious plan formulated in secret by two or more persons; plot. 3. a combination of persons for a secret, unlawful, or evil purpose: He joined the conspiracy to overthrow the government. 4. Law. an agreement by two or more persons to commit a crime, fraud, or other wrongful act. 5. any concurrence in action; combination in bringing about a given result.
History without conspiracy is like A man without a balls or penis.
-------------------- I don't want to be hostile. I don't want to be dismal. But I don't want to rot in an apathetic existance either.

If you like "Gonzo" maybe check out "Breakfast With Hunter" and "Buy The Ticket Take The Ride". There's another one called "Blasted" but I haven't checked that one out yet. Glad you liked "Life on the Mesa" Trashy, and I agree it wouldn't be a fun place to live... I don't think mushrooms even grow in the desert. "Cocaine Cowboys" sounds too good to miss out, I'll be givin that one a gander no doubt.
