from the beginning...red belt one stripe tae kwon do, 5 years Jeet Kune Do, 2 years brazilian jiu jitsu, 3 years wing chun gong fu, 3 years tai chi chuan and Chin Na, dabbled in Krav Maga and Dim Mak

Basically look at my tae kwon do training as counter-effective, I basically had to unlearn everything they taught me
Now I'm a lazy ass and haven't practiced or studied anything in about 2 years

i think the more humble would call ourselves limited even with a generally considered high level of training.

on of my sensei's has been humbled very much from the higher in rank he gets. he remarks how when he got his yellow belt (very easy) he had too big of a head, and learned why thats not a good idea.

yeah big head is never good. question though, what martial art? generally speaking from my experience, the martial arts with belt systems are the ones where you will find the people with the biggest heads.

Absolutely none.
I'd really like to study one, though, but I lack self-discipline big time.

You learn self-discipline, it is a part of the process of studying a martial art.

Kenpo.

I see what you are saying, but I like all the people I work with, for that reason, they simply don't, or at the very least they are humble about it and joke.

Then theres just having confidence, as long as you are not overconfident, it is good.

Not saying all belt system martial arts are flawed, just that they tend to focus more on the belts than the actual skills and that can attract the "power hungry" element.
Like Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, it's on a belt system.. but definitely not a joke. I'm sure Kenpo is the same way.
And Aikido.. I never studied it but I knew a dude who was very advanced in it.. I once saw a huge guy attack him and he flipped him and launched him about 30 feet into a wall.

That's why BJJ excels, 90% of fights end up on the ground, if you are a fucking spider monkey they don't stand much of a chance.
Jiu Jitsu is DESIGNED for dominating opponents, on the ground. Whether you are on top or they are top of you, does not matter. I'll choke you out with my legs.

I can put both my legs behind my head at the same time and walk on my hands. Not to mention I have really long, powerful legs.

I think I'd be really good at BJJ. I can't wait till I get the extra cash to start taking classes. Hopefully sometime next spring.

Haha sounds like BJJ would be good for me.  I'm a bit of a monkey to begin with.

At least that's what people tell me.  I prefer to consider myself a ninja.

It's a good place to start, if you want to get experience with grappling/ground stuff.
If you are calm and confident on the ground you already have the advantage.. that's where most people freak out.
I'd also work on your standing techniques.. kung fu...
