Pacquiao v, Cotto
    #11330483 - 10/27/09 09:47 AM (14 years, 5 months ago)

Manny Pacquiao vs. Miguel Cotto is creeping up on us. the 24/7s on HBO just started last week.

whats everybodys thoughts on this matchup. easily the biggest fight of Cotto's career. the same could be said for PacMan.

There are quite a few boxing fans here.

But yeah, many more MMA guys.

I prefer boxing myself and will, of course, be tuning into this.

Easy fight for Pacman.  Have fun paying 50$ for a few rounds of one fight.

i think the fight will go more then a few rounds..i can see like 8 or 9...maybe 10 with Pacquio winning

dont underestimate Cotto..he is well aware this is the biggest fight of his career and he looks to be in the best fighting shape of his life. FYI he has been training a full month longer then Manny

MMA is way more interesting than boxing.

Still I've been very impressed with pacquiao. I bet he will win this fight.

I'm with you,

Cotto is very live

If the weight cut in camp has been somewhat smooth I see a close tilt

Marquez reached Pac's body and even though it is years later Morales found success by consistently throwing a stiff Jab in his face (Two of Cotto's strengths)

First true Welter Pac has fought - should be interesting

i like the fight cuz Cotto is legit.  He presents a good set of skills against Manny, who u know isn't gonna take this fight lightley.

We'll see how it goes, i think Manny will win but it wont come easy

i think the only thing manny has on him is his speed, that's about it for this particular fight. hope he watches out for cotto's strong body shots. plus the fucker's doing stupid shit like mingling with corrupt politicians, making his own 3rd world shitty movie, feeding his entourage...wonder if his "mind" is in fight mode

Cotto looks much bigger.

I know they weighed out the same yesterday, but the weight difference is visually obvious.

Good first round.

I enjoyed that.

They are both so fast.

Damn.

Awesome.

Manny can hit him whenever he wants, but I don't know if he has the power to hurt him bad.

Cotto down in rounds 3 and 4.

He's getting toasted.

Pacquiao is too, too, too fast.

Great fight.
