    #1145317 - 12/16/02 10:21 AM (14 years, 4 months ago)

I have a filterpatch bag( yes 1 whole bag) that I want to sterilize a refill with brf and start colonizing again...Can I recycle this bag somehow?

Sure, simply wash it out, refill, and sterilize in the pressure cooker. The bag gets sterilized along with the substrate.

My experience is that you can reuse a bag three to four times before the plastic finally gives up from the sterilization process. Look out for little holes. As long as the plastic doesn't get brittle and there are no leaks you should be fine.
