Wow, thats odd. I found TC to readily pin without much effort. The last three casings I did, brf cased in verm, pinned within 2 days of setting in fruiting conditions.

He was talking about spawning if I am not mistaken. TC's seem to veg less quickly as other strains I have seen....

humidity is at 93 to 96 all day I have 2 computer fan mounted on each side of my tub. My tub is a 36 gal long tub one fan is at the top.. the other one is on the bottom side of the other side I have them set up to run every 2 hours for 15 minutes each.. the exhaust fan stops running the intake one starts up and force fresh air in both are covered with filter disk.
Here is what the dung looks like.

That looks like overlay to me, but I'll let someone with more experience tell you. If it were me, I would try to deep scratch it, and then case, or at least just case it.

Overlay baby.....
One of the harder parts is the pinning initiation and you just gotta do it... but that is overlay.....
Once you work with a strain you tend to learn how fast it grows while in vegatative growth. Then you can know when to begin the pinning cycle. My guess is that you waited to long to pin and the vegatative cycle of the TC's kept going for a bit even when you changed cycles...just a guess.....
You should still get shroomies off that but you may choose to recase which is pretty extream....

I don't know I spawn it on a monday then 7 days later it looked like this even when I broke it in half it was all colonized then I just put it in the growing chamber. I broke it all up today and cased it in 50/50 + hope that will help out.

Here a little update on the TC
I broke it all up and case it with 50/50. it's at room temp and 96 % humidity.
it started to grow again but not into the casing layer. I seen this on the side of the tub. I heard this yellow stuff is good.
I'm hoping after all the BS she will pin soon.
Here is another dung casing I have going just started the pinning fruiting cycle
Here is the BRF cake that wouldn't pin
I put it in this container mt parents had some asian jello tub.
here is what the top looks like my son took the straw out of it now I had to get another one. the blue spots are from me placing it the container
here is some high grade cow shit if anyone would like some let me know I have a endless supply I'll even sell it or trade for prints/syringes
it all kept at room temp around 70 to 75 with my acu-rite hygrometer humidity is at 95 to 100 most of the time 96

Update >>>>>
After recasing the TC after the nice Overlay they started to pin today I was thinking that the casing was gone throw the damn thing out. These are TC from Hawkseye It would be way awesome if there was albinos in it. BUt that would never happen to me.
After spawning it and getting the nice overlay then breaking it all up and recasing it they still go.

Hey I picked a total of 97 mushroom off it so far and still have the ones in the top picture to pick still. I left it alone for a couple days because I was out of town and the humidity was high and it started to grow more mycelium on the stems. shit it's only a 4"x 6" spawn of cow shit with some 50/50 on top. shit there already about 70 more pins started on the sides and top of it so it not a fuck up. All I did was cakes before then right into spawn shit .damn you get 10X the shrooms.
It weird because they just keep coming !not like on the cakes I would grow like 5 to 13 mushrooms that's it then they would mature this dung crap they just keep coming like weeds I finished picking the rest total of 128 mushrooms not bad for only a 4"x 6" x 2" dung cased with 50/50 then in a week or so I'll just pick the others that are growing out of it now again. Looks like there more pins now.

I had the same troubles getting my TC cakes in pin. Initially the humidity was too low, and the cakes started bruising pretty bad from the lack of a high rh. Leaving them alone for a week over Thanksgiving didn't help. I put the cakes directly onto my perlite, and shrooms started growing on the bottom of the cakes! It's like I have a casing layer on the bottom of my cakes, so I turned them upside-down. One cake has like 10-15 pins coming out, from the bottom!? Unfortunately I have to leave for Christmas holiday at the end of the week, so the holidays have basically ruined my mushrooms except for a few weak flushes. The flush I will be harvesting before I leave (premature) will be the best yet though.
