Barely an umbo. However, as you say, it might be the variations that need to be taken into account. Yes, I'm more than aware of the flicker mess; I've seen it far too many times. Also notice the pubescent stipe in those last photos. That, more than anything, leans towards P. caerulipes. Nevertheless, I'm holding out for P. quebecensis. Aside from having reasons I can't post publicly, I'm stubborn that way.

Microscopy of specimen provided by fetalscab
Spores length: 7.7-9.8 microns, pale yellowish brown. Cheilocystidia length: (15.5)18.5-30.3 microns, rarely bifurcate. Pleurocystidia very scarce and scattered, easy to miss or discount as anomolous. Basidia, both 2 and 4 spored observed. Clamps present.
Despite what appears to be the occasional pleurocystidium, all other features match well with Psilocybe caerulipes.
It is not unusual for scarce pleurocystidia to be lacking from species descriptions, as previously seen with Psilocybe cyanescens, bohemica and serbica.

Now that I have looked at a few other collections of actual Psilocybe caerulipes, fetalscab's collection is more obviously something different. It is actually a much better match for Psilocybe quebecensis which has pleurocystidia, wider spores and non-forking cheilocystidia.
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/11193005
It was bugging me that there were obvious pleurocystidia, but at the time I didn't have other specimens to compare.

Update: This is Psilocybe caerulipes. It was collected in Michigan, where the holotype of P. caerulipes was collected, and they are much smaller than P. aztecorum, which is synonymous with P. quebecensis. The cap also looks a lot different.
