so I don't habve fancy technology, can't post a picture, but I birthede 12 cakes (pink buff, eq, and golden teachers into a rubbermaid with perlite, the top sawed off and plastic covering put in there. I misted and aired well, if not 5x a day. now here's what I'm looking at. Some cakes have weak growthnarrow stems and tiny caps. other cakes just kept bubbling up. big fat pins would start but just grow rounder, not upward. many of the shrrooms are growing in inseparabl;e clustes that just ain't right. basically the scene looks like a mess, even through messed up shrooms are kind of forming. question: what could have cause this, and what should I do with the cakes now. Seriosly, they don't smell and only one may be contamed. should I try and case them. were they not getting enough humidity. Let me know what I shouod do with these. for my next jars I think I'll birth them into several chambers to avoid cross-contam, and to mist the fuck out of the terrarium. marbe the perlite/misting just wasn't enought. anyhow, thanks to those who help

Damn. Hard to say from your post but I am guessing too much humidity. Too much moisture.....

The best advice I can give for any situation where it is not clear as to the environmental conditions is to just think like a shroom. I know it sounds like "use the force luke" but sometimes that is the best way to go about things......
