Calling Jose 'tequila' is a stretch.  Its maybe, 51% tequila.  :wexican:

Nevertheless, the mixture doesnt sound good.

Good call, I guess it's not.  It tastes a damn lot like it though, only differences being that it's from Tennessee and it's charcoal mellowed.

Then again, that charcoal-mellowing is probably a large part of why it's winning the poll :awesome:

True, it does taste very similar. Often when I ask for a bourbon at a restaurant they give me Jacks.
Theres other differences though, Its not aged like a bourbon.
But who really cares, tastes enough like one. I love Jacks in perfect manhattens.

I didn't like wild turkey very much.
Makers mark is a decent bourbon, strong though.

^^  Thats what I have in my cabinet right now.  Along with a Rittenhouse Rye.  Whiskey is good in that its easy to make good for cheap.  Nearly any bottle that is in the over $20 range is sippable IMO, which cannot be said for most other liquors.

I can't sip on liquor.  Nor can i only drink liquor in a night.  I can't expect to get a bottle and not get blacked out off it.  Beer is easier to gauge how drunk i am, and how drunk i want to get.

For sure. A cheap bottle of whiskey is far superior than a cheap bottle of tequila :projectile:

Thats because you have no self control, are a menace to society and will likely end your life smashed on the road (hopefully before you smash up somebody else).
